Introduction
Timetotrade provide professional trading, portfolio management and tax tools for private investors and investment clubs. Timetotrade can be accessed from any computer, mobile phone or PDA that has internet access. The initial feature set enables users to set up price and technical analysis alerts, manage investment accounts, post research notes and keep a trading journal.
Timetotrade has been designed for busy people who are on the move. If you use support and resistance or technical analysis indicators to make investment decisions you are going to love timetotrade. You can easily create Price, Volume, MACD, Stochastic, RSI and Moving Average alerts for UK and US stocks and options. You can create simple alerts with 'One Click', or build complex alerts such such as: notify me when the stochastic indicator falls below 20% and then the price moves above its 20 day moving average with a simple 'Point and Click' approach.
When your alert conditions are met you will receive alerts via email and MSN instant messenger. You can also receive text alerts to your mobile phone or PDA however this is a paid service and not included in the free account package. If you are away from your computer when you receive an alert, if your mobile phone or PDA has mobile access, you can log onto your timetotrade account and review your price and technical analysis charts before phoning your broker or making a trade.
To help you keep track of your investment performance over time, you can use the timetotrade accounts features. You can view your investment performance, including all related expenses such as data feeds or analyst reports. Using Unit Valuation you can easily track your day to day investment performance as you add money to your trading account or withdrawn money or pay for trading tools. Unit Valuation enables you to have a consistent day to day perspective on your trading performance.
Good traders keep Trading Journals as it helps rationalise investment decisions remove the emotion. Over the long term markets rise based on rational fundamental data and in the short term they rise and fall due to fear and greed emotions. Use the River to keep a trading journals to rationalise your investment strategy and post key news, such as earnings announcements, so that you can keep track of a companies performance over time.
